Review:
What a book. This reminded me of A Little Life in a lot of ways but it was leagues above it (and with a smidgeon less trauma). Sam and Sadie were complex characters whose decisions you could root for in one breath, then be annoyed with them in the next. I liked the use of the time period as well, I personally haven’t read that many books set in the 1990’s to the early 2000’s.
